I support:
Keeping Prescott Valley one of the safest jurisdictions in AZ, the last survey by PropertyClub ranked OUR PV #3. When I was appointed in 2019 the Town ranked 11 of the 81 jurisdictions in AZ.
Providing quality, safe, free and accessible family events. Our four signature events draw thousands of people and give families an opportunity to spend time together while having fun.
Investing in roads, parks, sidewalks, trails and other infrastructure. PV invested over $16 million in roads and connectivity projects in 2023. The Town has invested heavily in multiple park improvements and one of the most exciting regional amenities is the YMCA.
Accommodating water and land conservation, and preservation of open space. In 2023 the Town approved multiple projects to assure future water availability by responsible water management, facility improvements and securing water rights. The Town has been working regionally to determine ways to protect open space
including wildlife corridors and watershed areas that feed our aquifers.
Growing our economic base for residents to have good wages. Six existing businesses are either under construction or have plans for expansion. Dignity YRMC has plans for 30 acres expansion next to the existing PV facility and Yavapai College announced plans to build a new 38,000 square feet health services campus in OUR PV.
A home for everyone, making sure our teachers, store clerks, medical staff and public safety workers can call PV home. So much of creating attainable housing now is out of our control, like interest rates, and the cost of land and materials. So as your council member, I am committed to finding alternatives like factory built homes that are equivalent to stick built homes at a fraction of the cost.
